A paint restoration is the art of removing scratches, swirl marks, hazing, oxidation, and other blemishes that may be in your car’s paint. To begin this process we give the car a thorough strip wash which acts to remove any waxes and sealants on the paint. We then give the car a chemical decontamination to remove metallic fallout and iron particles and a claybar to remove all other microscopic particles embedded in your paint’s surface. Once the car is dried, we start the polishing process which includes a one step up to a three step polish depending on the job.

Does paint correction remove every scratch?
No. Results depend on scratch depth, paint thickness, and what can be safely corrected. Deep scratches that penetrate the clear coat may require touch-up or repainting.
How many polishing stages will my car need?
A visual inspection determines whether your vehicle needs a one-step enhancement or a more intensive multi-stage correction.
Is paint correction the same as waxing?
No. Wax temporarily adds gloss and protection. Paint correction mechanically improves defects in the clear coat to restore clarity.
Should I add ceramic coating afterward?
It is strongly recommended. Ceramic coating helps preserve the corrected finish and makes proper maintenance easier.
How long does paint correction take?
Timing depends on vehicle size, paint condition, and the level of correction. We will provide an estimated turnaround with your quote.
How long should I wait before rolling down my windows?
Wait at least 48 hours before rolling tinted windows down. This gives the film and adhesive time to properly set.
How long does automotive window tint take to cure?
Most window tint takes approximately 3 to 7 days to fully cure. Cooler temperatures, humidity, and limited sun exposure can extend the curing process.
Will small bubbles or a hazy appearance disappear?
A slightly hazy appearance or small moisture pockets can be normal immediately after installation. These should gradually disappear as the remaining moisture evaporates and the film cures.
Can you remove old or damaged window tint?
Yes. We can remove old, faded, bubbling, or poorly installed window tint before applying new film. Removal time and pricing depend on the condition of the existing film and adhesive.
Does ceramic tint interfere with electronics?
No. XPEL ceramic window film does not use a metallic construction, so it should not interfere with phones, GPS, satellite radio, or other vehicle electronics.
Is darker tint better at blocking heat?
Not necessarily. Heat rejection depends heavily on the film’s technology, not just how dark it looks. A lighter premium ceramic film can provide better heat rejection than a darker, lower-quality film.
What window tint is legal in California?
California regulates the darkness and placement of automotive window tint. We will explain the available options and help you choose a film and shade that fits your needs, but vehicle owners remain responsible for complying with current state requirements.
Does window tint come with a warranty?
